With Halloween just around the corner (where did the time go?!) we have been inundated with many beautiful pictures of our customers’ Halloween makes. Here’s a list of our favorites, we hope it inspires you for this year or next! Let us know what you’ve been making in the comments.

Girls Princess Dress

Sandy made her daughters dresses for her Disney trip, this lovely Belle costume and Cinderella. I am in awe of her professional dressmaking skills. One little girl will be very happy.

Halloween Costumes - Frocks and Frolics

Cinderella Dress

And here comes the Cinderella dress. With iron on jewels and lots of blue lace over a hoop skirt she will be the Belle of the ball. I can’t wait to see the pictures of the girls at Disney. Just wonderful!

Dementor

Halloween Costumes - Frocks and Frolics

This one comes from our very own Marina who made this for her son Tom in the 2000’s. She drafted the pattern herself and we think it looks awesome, it would also be a great vampire outfit don’t you think? Apparently the gloves took AGES.

Woody from Toy Story

Halloween Costumes - Frocks and Frolics

We adore this Woody outfit made by Heather! Heather said she had never made a collared shirt before and so was intimidated, but our Cool Boys Shirt pattern made it easy, with clear instructions that are easy to follow. We do love the versatility of these patterns, the only limit is your imagination!

One of our master costume makers, Cari has been using the Princess Dress pattern to create a Cinderella dress for her little one. She just finished and we’re loving all those details that make this gorgeous dress extra special.

Pirate

Halloween Costumes - Frocks and Frolics

What a fantastic costume by Cheryl! This is the second time her loved one has wanted to be a pirate and we just love how this came out. This pattern isn’t one of ours, but we like the big cuff sleeves and we love the fabric Cheryl chose for the waistcoat – just fabulous.

Dinosaur

Halloween Costumes - Frocks and Frolics

We love Jessica’s work on this lovely dinosaur. We reckon she’s used wire to get those back pieces standing up so well and we can’t wait to see how this look turns out.

But our patterns are not just kids!

Candy Corn Dress

Halloween Costumes - Frocks and Frolics

Shelby used one of our most popular patterns, the Vivienne Dress to create this masterpiece! She adapted the sleeves using an alternative pattern and we just love how this has turned out. You can see our full range of women’s patterns here, and the Vivienne Dress is also available as a Mummy & Me Bundle – how cute would a couple of matching Candy Corn dresses look this Halloween?

If you’re looking for a last minute make we have this lovely little Halloween Trick or Treat basket which can be whipped up from scraps in a couple of hours. ELa’s daughter Magdalena sure looks the part in her Batman costume and cat themed treat basket.
