Dakota: An absolutely fabulous little pea coat which has a great fit and is a practical year-round. It features a slight A-line with side pockets and either a hood or collar and the classic buttonhole or bound buttons. This pattern includes the pattern for an optional lining too – great for the cooler months.

Jutta: This is a fantastic beginner’s easy sewing pattern! Girls will love this wrap skirt which is so versatile and can be worn all year round. If you’re new to sewing or fancy a quick project then this is the pattern for you. It has an elasticated back which makes for a snug and comfortable fit and is perfect for school and playtime, dresses it up with colourful tights for your little fashionista.

Fabric:
The Coat and Wrap Skirt bundle patterns suits almost all fabric types. Woven or knit both is possible. In the past, I have used corduroy as well as quilting cotton. If you are lining the top you can also use sheer fabrics like chiffon. The important thing is to have a firm yoke! Combining a woven fabric with knit or chiffon is also possible, just remember if you have a knit yoke you need iron interfacing which will give the yoke enough stability so it won’t stretch.
