Western Blouse Dolls Sewing Pattern
Our western blouse sewing pattern has all the features of a classic western blouse. This gorgeous blouse features a button placket closure, yoke, and adorable puff turn-up sleeves. In the video instructions for this sewing pattern, you will find a simple way to work the sleeve but can also learn how to insert lace into the sleeve turn-up or delicate piping. Want to add some diamantes? great, there is a video for that, too.
As a secondary bonus option, you can make a plain long sleeve with a traditional cuff. I added the Bishop sleeve DIY to the course so you can make that too. This video also includes a guide to KamSnaps. Hope you will love this one as much as I do.
The pattern is supported by a step-by-step guide (eBook) and easy-to-follow video tutorial, excellent if you are a little unsure about some of the steps.
All the videos for the doll collection are available for free on YouTube and at the Sewing Academy, so you can have a look before you purchase the pattern. Watch the main video tutorial now by scrolling down to the video section and enjoy.
This PDF pattern is designed to fit 18″ dolls such as American Girl® or Görtz (46-50cm). If you are in any doubt that your doll will fit this dress, these measurements will help.
Chest: 28 cm / 11 inches
Waist: 27 cm / 10.6 inches
Front length (shoulder to waist): 10 cm / 4 inches
Lightweight fabrics work best. I added some of the fabrics I used for the vintage collection and the doll’s collection to my Amazon Influencer Shop.
